Getting Kitted Out

6 Jul You Can't Beat a Decent Sun Lounger

Our quest to re-kit our van following last December’s sparks and smoke continues.

At the moment we’re now looking around for some chairs. Some director style chairs and a couple of sun lounger style ones. Easy enough you may think. But being the fussy buggers that we are, not so; particularly as we’re very cost conscious at present.

We’ve looked at various ones both online and offline, but to be honest either the cost is too high (£130 for a single chair – I don’t think so!) or they are crap, quality-wise (nasty plasticy rubbish).  Continue reading →

Now We’re Cooking on Gas

We’ve just sold on eBay, the porch and full Isabella awning that we used with our previous Van.

This is good, as it gives some more, much needed funds towards kitting out our new Van becuase if you remember, last December we lost everything in a fire. Consequently we’re having to buy everything again from new starting with knives and forks upwards. Continue reading →
